📦 What Data We Collect

Smart Notes does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data whatsoever.

        All notes, sections, and settings you create are stored exclusively on your own device using your browser's built-in storage.local API. No data ever leaves your device.
      

🌐 Network Activity

Smart Notes makes zero network requests. It does not connect to any external server, API, or third-party service. There is no backend, no cloud sync, and no analytics.

🔑 Permissions Explained

Smart Notes requests only the minimum permissions required to function:

        • storage — to save your notes locally on your device.

        • clipboardWrite — to let you copy note text with one click.

👤 Third Parties

Smart Notes does not use any third-party libraries, analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking services. Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone.

🗑️ Data Deletion

You have full control over your data at all times. You can delete all notes at any time using the Clear All button inside the extension. Uninstalling the extension also removes all locally stored data.

👶 Children's Privacy

Smart Notes does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The extension is safe for all ages.
